well i just got another tip on lake michigan but because i just herd this don't 100% belive this i don't know the guy well and i do know that he likes to expand the truth. Well anyways he told me he caught 19 kings the other day in 65ft out from mich city all on black fin tuna silver streaks down 30+ft its just what he said but i don't know if its all true but it might be worth a try. Well if anyone does try it let me know how they do i woun't be able to get on the lake anytime soon. _________________ "Fishing is like sex, when its good its great, and when its bad its still pretty good" |

| went out of michigan city on sat me and my dad very slow. Got 3 cohoes in 53 feet of water on shad raps. Went out today me and 2 friends to the hole in the wall startted of slow when the sun came out they startted hitting. We ended up with 15 and lost 3. Those came in 20 to 30 feet of water on dogger and fly and body baits. I talked to some people that were perch fishing and it was very slow for them. |

ok so my buddy was coming in as i was heading out, he had about a dozen minows left and a limit of nice perch. So i took his minows and headed out to gary. I started for smallies and caught 3 nice ones and 2 small ones biggest was about 4lbs. i also snagged and landed a 40lbs+ carb big ol some bioch. took a good 20 minutes of chaseing and fighting to land her. Anyways, i then decieded to try my luck w/ some perch just was hookin the minows on my drop shot rig and started nailing them. My buddy and i had 30 nice ones in no time. So you can say the perch are hitting and i also had a nice brown come and chase my tube right up to the boat. Well i guess for only a few hours of fishin it was a pretty good day. _________________ "Fishing is like sex, when its good its great, and when its bad its still pretty good" |

Unless you mind the waves, Saturday is your only day. Saturday's going to rain but winds are out of the Southwest - 20+ MPH, so the South Shore will be decent. They are shifting to the Northwest Saturday Night/Sunday morning 8-12MPH. That'll make for some sizeable chop. A big boat will be alright. Looked all of this up using the hour-by-hour feature on Weather.com.
Good luck and be safe Salmon. _________________ -Kley-

| SALMONSLAYER, WE HAD TO WORK HARD FOR OUR FISH ON SUNDAY. WE THREW EVERY LURE OUT THERE LOOKING FOR THE RIGHT COMBO. I GUESS THATS WHY THEY CALL IT FISHING AND NOT CATCHING. WILD BILL. |
