How do japanese see manga and anime? ive been wondering; in america if a fan of anime and manga goes to school everyone considers them weird, geeks, anti-social etc. we know that's not true, but i was wondering how the japanese see an anime/manga fan, and what people think of it in general, do they see anime as just cartoon's? and manga as simple cheap comic books?
