I got a nice doe on Saturday and my brother got what I believe was a 6 pointer this morning. Neither of them were real big but both will eat very well! _________________ www.IntotheGreatLakes.com

Been out twice during firearms. Had a 5 point buck walk under my stand, but I passed up the shot. Still got deer in the freezer.
Went out twice during bow season, got a turkey and passed on a button buck and some does.
Facing shoulder surgery and its tough to hunt with a bow when limited to pulling the bow back...lucky to have gotten the turkey. _________________ http://www.IndianaNature.com |

| Went to Perry count for 4 days, not a lot of buck action, but did manage to put a doe down. Just nice to go south and hunt some real woods with hills and all that, gets old looking at farm land all the time. |

Got a nice 8 pointer during the first Urban Deer Season. My son and I drew into Brown County for the 1st Firearm Hunt. Got 1 big Doe & 1 Button Buck. Man was that hard to haul the Deer out of. Even with the Cart going up and down the ravines was a lot of work. Had to crack the wip twice to keep my Son going. Just kidding about the wip, It was a lot of work retriving our Deer. They had us pull them to the closest road then they would help haul them out. Was a lot of fun hunting the different area but I sure wish they would let us use our UTV at least for retriving. _________________ Life is not a rehearsal,Enjoy it why you can.
Don't shoot it unless your going to eat it.
Catch and release today so you can catch it again another day. |
