THE SLOUGH STARTED ALLOWING FISHING TODAY ON THE FRONT AND THE BACK ON THE 21ST. I WIL BE THERE TOMORROW MORNING.

WENT OUT AT 9 AM WE HAD OUR 50 FISH IN THREE HOURS MOST OF THEM WERE BETTER THAN 8 INCHES. THE ICE IS A GOOD 4 -5 INCHES.

WENT OUT FRI. AND GOT ANOTHER 50 IT TOOK A LITTLE LONGER WE CAUGHT A LOT OF LITTLE GUYS THIS TIME. IT TOOK A WHILE TO GET 50 GOOD ONES

NOT THUR. OR FRIDAY I WAS THERE BUT WITH THE RAIN WE HAD I KNOW THE ICE AROUND HERE IS TOO THIN UNTIL WE GET THROUGH THIS HEAT WAVE. I WAS BREAKING THROUGH SUN. IT WAS ONLY ABOUT 2 AND HALF INCHES THEN.

A guy did go through the ice. he is doing just fine and is looking to get back out there. he was a heftier guy. happened to go across where the geese had the ice open a few days prior. alot of iceshanty boys helped the man out. paramedics did not hall him off but did check him out said vitals were in good condition. every one fishing out there says it is averageing 3-5 inches of ice. regardless always ckeck the thickness as you venture and listen to the ice talk to ya also. that lake gets alot of pressure on it so that said it can have 6 inches and still have guys drop through. just have a buddy with and take a throw rope.
