Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone had an NRA instruction Certification. I'm the Assistant Scoutmaster for a Boy Scout troop in DeMotte, and we thought now is a good time of year for their Rifle and Shotgun shooting merit badges. I am confident in my own skill for showing people around firearms and discussing safety, but with Safety in mind I was wondering if anyone had the Certification for teaching it. If you do, I'd love to get ahold of you on the phone or email, and see if you would not mind donating some time to help some Boy Scouts out. I got a great group of kids, and some parents who don't understand that a gun is a tool, so someone with a Cert would give the parents some relief. Thanks guys.

i hope someone does. It would be nice if the kids could complete the merit badge before next year.

Thanks for the info scott. that might become an option. the guy my troop use to use to preside over and teach the rifle shooting merit badge lived in Rensselaer, but we have not been able to get ahold of him this year. Really appreciate the info, thanks again.
