We also had a rough day at the slough Saturday 8 hunters and we shot 7 birds. We didn’t here a lot of shots in area 9. Also some asshole busted the rear window out of one of our trucks. You know it was not a true outdoorsman that broken the window. If anyone has some info please let me know. Needles to say some of our group took an early quit after they found out about the truck. Myself, my son Michael, Mark and Chris Sopata went back out and only shot one more bird, but we helped a fellow hunter track a deer that he shot. We tracked that deer for 4 hours and lost the blood trail in the tall grass in the back side of area 9. I talked to two other parties and they didn’t have much luck in area 5 on Saturday. We hunted area 9 Sunday and shot 14 birds 2 short of our limit. Twisted Evil

Hey that wasn't an old timer guy that lost his deer was it? If so he was out again Monday and someone said they found it in the tall grass back behind the old silo (way out back)

Been thinking about the broken window deal. The wife and I do remember something odd....there was a later model dark blue blazer or tahoe with a metal rack on top that kept cruising the parking areas. They never got out that we seen and if we were walking twoards them they just left....kind of in a hurry. Not sure if it helps or even means anything, but we did see it at every area we were at 9, and both 14 lots.
