I was just wondering if anyone has been out or having any luck this fall. I've been out a few times for crappie but the bites been either really light or I'm in the wrong hole. I talked to a guy out in rodgers park who was just coming off the lake, he basically told me he was having the same problems. He said he was having the most luck drifting the current in 15-30 ft but the fish seemed to be marking around 12 on his fishfinder. The last time I was at long lake I was marking them about the same depth but couldn't get a bite to save my life. I might have quit too early also since I left the lake about a half hour after dusk.
