|
|
The second group of Unstable members went to Minnesota Memorial Week and found similar weather as the first group cold, wind & rain, only sunny the first and last day. Took two younsters that never caught walleyes or northerns before and they could not get enough of it. But the crappies & big bluegills & sunnies were on strong. Bluegills & Sunnies were from 1 to 1.5 lbs. Did well on Walleyes at night, 1 to 4.5 lbs. Northerns were hit or miss, 1-4.5 lbs, plus one big one 11lbs, bass were on beds and very stubborn, but ranged from 1-4.5 lbs. Even 2 surprise MUSKIES were caught.
Cody on his first trip did well for himself
Cody caught 2nd muskie of the trip while bass fishing - 32 inch
He even caught the biggest northern
Mark caught the first muskie while bass fishing - 34 inch
Jeremy on first trip had a blast
Ed getting in on some of the action
Tom with a nice walleye
Ready and waiting for the walleye bite
Nice bixed bag ready to be cleaned
Net full of crappies, bluegills and sunnies
We had to wind proof the deck in order to cook on the grill

looks like you guys had a badass time. Perhaps i need to rethink things, maybe next year minnesota instead of wisconsin. _________________ Its been said a million times, and it is still as true as ever, a bad day fishing is still better than a good day working. |

Glad to see you made it out alive. Nasty weather + good fishing = a good time regardless. _________________ Rico |
