I don't know about anyone else but since the warm up and the rain over the weekend it seems the bass have been hitting good. The park is about 15 minutes from my house so I've been getting out almost daily for about an hour in the morning before work and then depending on my wife's mood for about an hour in the early evening. Needless to say I'm catching them.. Tues between going out in the morning and evening I had 11 on and landed 10.. Had one jump and shake the bait out of his mouth. That was shore fishing and in about 3 hours fishing. This morning I got two in hour, quit right before the rain started.. Mind these aren't the biggest bass out there but they are avg size about 8-14 inches. I'm posting a few pics from from this morning.

Hell yeah! If I didn't have newborn twins at home I'd be meeting you over there. I fish Loomis quite a bit due to the convenience factor. It's about 10 minutes away for me too. I haven't pulled any hogs out of there yet. Probably 3lbs is the biggest. _________________ -Kley-

Thanks guys. Kley congrats on the twins! It sounds like you have your hands full.
I went out again tonight for about an hour. I wasn't have any luck with the bass and started thinking I had jinxed myself with this post. I was working my way back to my truck, just about to give up when .. WHAM!!! It was just about dark and whatever I caught sure as shit didn't want me to land it. I was guessing it was a hawg! I finally get it in but to my surprise it was a Wally... My first ever!! Man what a nice fight. I got a few pics and released it because I wasn't sure if it was a keeper. I'm posting the pics, sorry the quality of the pics is bad but it was my phone camera and the lighting was dark.

Dood... I tried on like 4 or 5 occasions to pull a walleye out of Loomis. Magura and Izynski skocked 5,000 of them in the lake about 4-5 years ago and a guy in a boat next to me caught one last year. I was unsuccessful. Congrats!!! _________________ -Kley-
