I CANNOT TELL YOU HOW MANY DIFFERENT STYLE BROADHEADS I HAVE TRIED. MUZZY, WASP, CRIMSON TALON THE LIST IS LONG. RECENTLY I HAVE BEEN SHOOTING A NEW SLIPCAM FROM RAGE. THIS BROADHEAD WILL OPEN A HOLE 2 INCHES PLUS. THE THING I LIKE THE BEST ABOUT THEM IS THEY FLY LIKE A FIELD TIP. THEY ALSO SELL PRACTICE HEADS THAT ARE FIXED LIKE THE REAL BROADHEAD. SO WHEN YOU SIGHT IN YOUR BOW YOUR READY TO ROCK. I WAS NEVER BIG ON EXPANDABLES TILL I WAS TURNED ON TO THIS PRODUCT. THESE ARE REAR DEPLOYED BROADHEADS, MOST OPEN FROM THE FRONT. 100 GRAIN RAGE SLIPCAM EXPANDABLES ARE IN ALL CATALOGS. LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU BOW HUNTERS THINK. WILD BILL.

Hey wild Bill, I have recently bought the same broadheads. I used to shoot thunderheads, but I am tired of the small entry hole. It seemed like the hole always got plugged up or you would have a poor bloodtrail to follow. We all know what that means on a rainy day! Although I haven't shot the rages at anything yet, practicing with the practice heads has me extremely pumped for next year. Are you using aluminum arrows or carbons? I have always used aluminum but am in debate whether or not to switch. Anyone with opinions???

BOWHUNTER7, DUDE WHATS UP. RIGHT NOW I AM SHOOTING GOLD TIP PRO HUNTER CARBON ARROWS. I LIKE THE WAY THEY FLY AND I AM GETTING SOME GOOD GROUPINGS. ON THE OTHER HAND, A LOT OF GUYS WHO I HUNT WITH WANT TO GO BACK TO THE BIG OLD FAT ALUMINUM LOG ARROWS FOR HUNTING SITUATUIONS. THERE IS A LOT OF THUMP BEHIND AN ALUMINUM ARROW. BUT REMEMBER, WHAT EVER YOUR SHOOTING CARBON OR ALUMINUM (YOU HAVE TO HIT WHAT YOUR AIMING AT). THESE ARE THE GUYS WHO DONT PRACTICE AND BLAME THE MISSES ON EVERYTHING BUT THEIR ON THE COUCH SITTING AND DRINKING LAZY BUTTS. IN ONE WEEK I WILL TRY A 2-BLADE RAGE WHEN I AM IN FLORIDA WILD BOAR HUNTING. WILD BILL.

WHILE IN FLORIDA ON THE BOAR HUNT I USED THE NEW 2-BLADE RAGE BROADHEADS. I WAS IMPRESSED WITH THE PERFORMANCE. I AM SHOOTING A DRAW PULL OF 59LBS AND THE RAGES MADE NICE BIG HOLES. WHEN THE BOAR WAS FIELD DRESSED THE PENTRATION ON THE INSIDE WAS INCREDIBLE. THEY ARE GOING TO HAVE TO CREATE SOMETHING BETTER ON THE MARKET FOR ME TO TRY ANOTHER BROADHEAD. WILD BILL.
