We had a plan!!! Went out yesterday evening and set up 2 lines!! Baited them up nice,, with some good sized bait.. The plan was to set these up,, check them in the morning and do some casting on the way back.. Oh ya,, we had a good time!!!

Fast forward to this morning.. Met up with runner1212 at daylight this morning.. Ready to check our 2 lines.. Pulled up to the first,, heck ya,, there was a tug in the line.. Pulled up a beauty cat.. He was nice!!

Right after him was a smaller sized bull-head,, and all that was left of him was his head!! What the heck??? Ooopss

Then we went on up river to the 2nd line.. Pulled up to the stick and grabbed the line.. HELLO,, we got some action here as well!!! Started working down the line and there was another,,, and just past him about 5 hooks away was another.. Heck ya we had 2 more,, both of these were real nice as well... So thats 3 we have in the live-well.. And we havent even started casting yet...

Then we started floating back to the ramp,, right away smacked a nice smallie.. He wasnt HUGE,, but he gave up a nice fight.. The I turn around,, and runner has a legal eye on his line.. Heck ya,, that 1 is going in the well also!!! We battled around for a while,, catching alot of shorts along the way.. The SMALL smallies were biting decent today!!

Then we ended up in one of my classic walleye holes.. A real nice eddy up under some trees in about 7' of water.. 2nd cast for up under it,, and pulled out a 21" eye.. Heck ya,, this spot has always treated me well!!

In the end,, we had a great day on the water.. We had some good eaten fish in the well.. And it was some killer weather!! This is pretty much gonna wrap up my fishing season,, as goose is right aound the corner..
