| Got out for the first trip of the season. Knew that the winds would pick-up by mid-morning, so we launched at 6 A.M. We were boat number 15. When we left, I counted 52 trailers in the lot. Made the run to Gary light from Pastrick. We made passes until 9 AM, only catching 1 fish on each of the last 2 passes. We laft Gary light at 9 AM and it was definitely an "E-Ticket ride at Dinsey World" on the way back. We thought about putting lines back out anf trolling the wall at Mittal, but the lake was starting to get real roungh, even though it was a South wind, so we just called it a day. Didin't get any picks, but both were around 20 inches. Bothe caught on thin-fins on planer boards. On Thin Fin was orange witha black ladderback, the other was silver with blue and yellow. Onl 2 fish, but the first trip of the season is in the books. |
