Me and Tyler hit it hard opening day of fire arm season. We were in the stand early with our new Thompson Encore Pro Hunter 500 S&W Magnum for the first hunt with this rifle. We did not see a deer in the AM left the stand for lunch around 11:00 am and returned at 1:00. Around 3:15 we saw this spike buck coming towards us. The buck started to head east towards the woods Tyler took a 70 yard shot at him and the rest is HISTORY. This is his first shot at a deer.
