Kev the owner of Pikehole is up there in ND as well. You see a lil squirrely guy walking around like he doesn't know what he is doing. That's him. He will be decked out in TU wear! Good luck.

Well we made it back into town this morning around 3. We were pretty dissapointed with the hunting. I guess thats why its called hunting! The local birds were still there and no new birds have moved in yet. The locals are VERY educated birds! We had a good time and made the best of out trip. Last year we were caught in a blizzard out there and almost didn't make it home. We did not want a repeat. They were calling for 12"-14" of snow over night with freezing rain mixed in. We decided to pack it up and plan for next year.

I did take some pictures. The bid count was very low compared to previous years.

Some of the terrain out there.....

Some pics of our spreads....

We barely made it out of the field!!

Our rigs ready for the 14 hr trip home....

Some pheasants and sandhills....

Some cool pics at sunset....

The local bar and grill!

GOOSEBUSTER THOSE ARE SOME SWEET PICS. YOUR DECOY SPREAD AND TRUCK/ TRAILER RIGS ARE TIGHT. I HERE YOU THATS WHY THEY CALL IT HUNTING AND NOT KILLING. I TOO HAVE BEEN ON TRIPS WERE THE BIRDS ARE NOT IN THE AREA. BUT WHEN YOU HAVE A SHOTGUN AND YOUR WITH YOUR BUDDS IT IS ALL GOOD. THANKS FOR THE PICS, SEE YOU LATER, WILD BILL.
