This past weekend at the Horicon Waterfowl USA goose hunt there was a very special young man able to attend the goose hunt. This young mans name is Dan Fritch and when Dan was 15 he was diagnosed with leukemia. Dan is now in remission and is doing well. My group of guys hunted him Saturday morning and dan killed his first ever Canadian Goose with the help of myself,Scuba Steve and Boyd. After the hunt, I asked his father of Dan's history and his progress with the leukemia, and after 15 minutes of Mr.Fritch telling me of Dan's misfortune, we were both standing in the field crying.
Saturday night a hog roast was held and Dan was given some very nice things including, a new remington shot gun, a jacket, bibs, shells, accessories from Tanglefree, Team Unstable wear, and $200. worth of gas cards from Wild Bill, calls from Gander Valley Custom Calls and Waterfowl usa covered the hotel and license.
Heres a few pics of the hunt.

Well the others had alot to shoot then. I hunted with Wild Bill, Quackin, Scuba Steve and Whatever on Friday afternoon. We couldn't get The Wild Man and Quackin to shoot, until I tricked em with the, somebody kill it, it's got a collar.
P.S. Wild Bill's new nickname is Trader short for Benedict Arnold
Hey Bill make sure you tell the story about the farmer with his arm up the cow's a$$ |
