| hey awal, I have been fishing lake bruce for almost 18 years and have only fished the lake for bass ,crappie, gills and musky.. used to kill the 13"-14" crappie untill they introduced the hybrid musky (aprox. 10 yrs ago) Still a great fishery tho.On the south side of the lake by Hoosier Hideaway there is a few piers and a sandy beach. They used to have a floating swim platform in the middle of the two piers in about 8-10 ft of water it breaks there and drops into one of the deepest parts of the lake at about a 75 yards out. Thats one place to find your cats in 10 ft. Untill this year the bait shop there( hoosier hideaway) was selling crappie minnows for 3doz for a dollar.(nice fattys) But i opened my big mouth (dumbass) I think hes at a buck adoz.now.still a great deal.Better than whiteys. If you want any insight on the other parts of the lake let me know , i know it like the back of my hand...... Good Luck ! |
