TEAM USTABLE FOUGHT OFF THE OPENING DAY HUNTER FRENZY WITH SOME GOOD ACTION. YOU COULD SMELL OCTOBER IN THE AIR. THE 08 DUCK AND GOOSE SEASON IS HERE. WE HUNTED OUT TOWARD SOUTH BEND. WILD BILL, CAPT.GAR, NATURE GIRL, SPAWN, OLD CHEESE, QUACKIN WHACKIN, DUCK SLAYER AND WILD BILL SR. GOT INTO A FLOCK OF TWENTY GEESE DECOYING INTO THE SPREAD ABOUT 10 YARDS OUT. OH YEAH BY THE WAY, CAPT GAR FORGOT TO BRING HIS LICENSE AND WAS GIVEN A WARNING BY THE DNR AFTER THEY CALLED IN HIS INFO. THE OFFICERS WERE POLITE AND WOULD GET DOWN WHEN A FLOCK OF BIRDS WOULD WORK. IT IS NICE TO HAVE GAME OFFICERS WITH RESPECT FOR THE INDIVIDUALS THAT THEY ARE CHECKING. GOOD JOB GUYS.
HERE IS QUACKIN WHACKIN, BAD COP, WILD BILL AND ANDREW WORKING THERE WAY THRU A SWAMP TO GET IN SOME SHOOTING.

The third photo needs to be printed, signed and framed and then taken up to the trailer up north and hung on the wall! And I am sure Wild Bill will have to call into Into the Outdoors on Thursday and talk about it and the hunt on the air!

Now I know why I had trouble getting the geese in, their is a goose in the 6th picture with no head.  ,but had fun any how.

OK Ranger Ryan - that's enough- I realized about 5 minutes before getting checked what happened to the license- washed it! yep several little pieces- so as the usual good guy I am - I had to buy a new Federal Stamp- does that mean I can get twice the limit? Hey those DNR officers were professional and great guys! Just doing their job! Love to see it!
New license in hand- Now watch I won't get checked again! LOL! I'm always legal! Won't hunt any other way!
