First thing is first,, you need to hire a guide for the morning!!!!! Notice she is trying to push my bud out!!!




What a nice morning to be out on the water!!! River flow is down a whole bunch right now,, better have the right gear to be out on the river,, or you will tear yer stuff up!! Mostly just canoes and kayaks up there right now.. Check out this group that went past us...



We couldnt find a bunch of action,, but we did manage to find a couple nice ones,, and my bud caught them!! Check out this river large-mouth also,, he was nice!!




Since we were not getting into the smallies very good,, we decided to stop and play with the gar for a little fun.. They are always grouped up in the same spot.. Always!! Just float a shad-rap through them and hang on.. If they are feeding,, something will get hooked... We had about 6 on,, 1 broke loose and took my brand spankin new JSR-5.. I was whizzed!!! Fun to watch them chase it all the way back to the boat,, and start snappin away right in front of ya!! Dern gar!! Better than nothing I guess!!




I'd list this as another good day on the water,, sure beats sleeping in!!!!!
