Here we go again!!! Went out yesterday evening with a bud.. We re-baited my line from yesterday,, and set out 1 more for him.. I didnt have very much bait left,, so we stopped and bought some bass minnows from the bait store.. And stopped at Krogers for a handfull of shrimp.. We went way up far to set out the 2nd line.. Couple miles up,, right into the middle of town.. Set it up in a spot with no bank access..

Got up first thing this morning.. Couldnt get my bud awake,, so went out and collected up the 2 lines in solo mode again.. Didnt wanna wait till the canoe guys get out there..

Took the guide with me again.. Ears flappin in the breeze!!





Got to the first line,, and what do ya know,, had another decent size fish on there again.. This guy was around 5-6 lbs.. Got him up in the boat,, and the dern thing had another of my drops hanging out of his mouth.. Either I didnt clipp it on the main line right,, or he flat out straightend it out.. Cause he had 1 hook buried in his gut,, then went over to another drop and got busted there.. Here is a couple pics.. Notice also he had the middle section of his bottom jaw GONE!!! It was a perfect thumb stop for lipping him.. Completely healed up,, and it didnt look like it affected him,, cause he was healthy as can be..





Then took the ride on up to where we set out the other.. Soon as a grabbed it and got past the first wieght,, I could tell I had another.. This one was a bit smaller than the others,, but nice... Maybe around 2lbs.. Started going on down a little further and HELLO,, had another tugging away.. Got all the way up to him,, and DERN IT,, as I pulled him up into the boat he popped off the hook!!! O-well.. He was maybe around 3 lbs,, and would have been great in my freezer!! Here is a couple pics of the 2 in my live-well for the ride home!!
