Went to the strip pits in Essex with Duknut and his daughter Alex. We hammered the bass all night, only fished from 6-9 caught over 40 bass a couple of real nice ones 3.5 to 4lbs forgot the camera though. Alex had a blast because she had to reel all the fish in for us plus the ones she caught, so if you ask her she caught all of them. It is great to see kids loving to fish. All the fish were on plastics.

Went back with both of Ed's daughters Alex and Emma on Wednesday 07/30/08 and did not do nearly as good. Ended up around 10 fish. Emma was the star this day. Ended on a bad note with Alex getting her finger caught in the boat lift and cutting her finger pretty bad. But everything is fine now. The fish were real deep on plastics. Water warmed up 5 degrees from previous week.
