Did a evening float with a bud tonight. We started out hooking the boat up with some thunder and showers passing over.. Weather man kept saying nothing till after midnight.......... We decided to take a chance,,, and its about a $30 chance these days with this !#$%% gas !@#$$!!!! Got to the ramp,, got the boat off the trailer and the truck parked,,, then here comes another shower...... Dern it........ We ran back and sat in the truck for another 15 mins and waited it out...
Finally it started to break and the sun came out!! We even saw a rainbow peek out of the shadows... Does it show?
We searched around for a while,, not a bunch of action,, I kept telling m bud,, "we are gonna get a nice one!!".... Both of us ended up loosing a couple nice fish along the way.. My bud lost one that did a 2 foot jump outta the water and spit the hook right at him.. Wish I could have had a pic of that!! It was cool as heck!! Couple quick shakes in mid air,, and he was free!!
