TEAM UNSTABLE MESSAGE BOARD

Greetings Everyone! I'm Erick, and from the Portage area. On my way to work a few times, I saw the "Team Unstable" logo on the back of a Silver Dodge Ram. I was curious about it a couple times, and this past week, I thought I'd take down the info and do some research. Had the pleasure of talking to Wild Bill...and wow, this is the group I've been searching for forever! In that conversation, he told me its just a bunch of "knuckleheads that like to hunt and fish"...once he said that, I knew I had found my home!

I love shooting, hunting, camping, and travelling (when money and time permit). I grew up in a family that was anti-gun, anti-hunting, and anti-anything-fun. When I went away to college, I bought my first shotgun. When my mom found out, she was LIVID! I don't think I've ever seen her that mad before. I went on to start the WIU Sportsman Club on the campus of Western Illinois University, which was a huge success! I formed this group for people like me who had little/no hunting experience who wanted to learn. I had support from organizations, Conservation Police, gun clubs, even featured in the newspaper!

I moved to Indiana from Illinois in 2007, and haven't been hunting since I moved here, so I'm hoping that through this club, that I will once again have that opportunity with like minded individuals.

Truly, of any organization I've ever belonged to, nothing has the quality of friendship, and camaraderie other than shooters or hunters. I have yet to meet a hunter/shooter with a solid and stable mind that wants to do harm to others, but you'll find crazy people all over Northwest Indiana (actually, all over the country---look at Chicago and California for instance...need I say more?)

Like I said, I'm new to hunting, haven't hunted since 2006, and still have a lot of learning to do. I'm hoping that this is the place to cultivate some friendships with those that have the same interests.

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to next hunting season and hoping that this takes off.

I've got to admit, I did find the name "Team Unstable" very intriguing...Looking forward to meeting everyone, so feel free to reply.
