The boy and I played hooky from school today. With the weather forecast, I was afraid this would be the last day in a while to take AJ on his first trolling trip for Spring Coho. Totally worth it. AJ boated the first 3 fish of the day. After the third, he requested a break. All-in-all, we boated 8 Coho and one nice Brown. The CO doing the creel survey said the Brown was 24" and 3.8 pounds. A couple of the coho were around 2.5 pounds. Lots of boats searching for fish today. We always seemed to pop 2 at once. We batted around .500. Can't wait to play hooky with AJ again soon!
