| Went back to strip pits agian this afternoon, not as good as usual though for some reason they didn't cooperate that well. Water temp 61-63 degrees, windy, sunny, I thought it should have been crazy especially after the way they were at Willow Slough. Most fish caught on jigs and jerk baits. Only out for 2 1/2 hours and caught 13 bass mostly 10-15 inches, fouled hooked couple others on jerk baits that don't count and one nice northern. But yes Bassaholic did it again 8-5 plus the northern. Seems like they are shutting down anywhere between 5-6 pm the past few days. |

Did you check the feeding cycles lately? Might be they are better in the AM! You take Cuban to school? _________________ Capt. Gar |

Hey Gar,
I did not check the feeding cycles but Sat, Sun and today were supposed to be the best times to fish. I will check it might be interesting. I think it also it has to due with the sun going down and not warming the water anymore.

| Some times it goes like that on the big girl. Sounds like fish were deep probably much deeper than you were getting trolling unless you installed downriggers on the USS HATH. Saw reports on here from 30-60 fish were being caught. |
