Do you have to have hunter safety to take an archery class with just plain targets? I like archery, and a YMCA in my town was having an archery camp. I wanted to do it, and my friend who is taking hunter safety said I have to have hunter safety to do it. I would understand that, except for it isn't HUNTING archery, it's just shooting at targets. The form for signing up didn't say anything about hunter safety. Thanks!

| I am pretty sure you need a hunters safety course to hunt. when it comes to shooting targets you will be okay. |

| Instead of hunter's education. A bow hunters education would be better. I teach both. |
