not a single new post in over a month, does no one go fishing anymore, i know my job has picked up so i sure as hell don't get to go out as much

PERCH HAVE BEEN DEAD FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS NOW BUT THE SLOUGH IS HOT BEEN HAMMERING THE GILLS AND REDEARS EVERY TIME I GO.

Too busy at home with the kids and everything else. I've probably only fished 3 or 4 times this year.

This has been one of the worst years fishing wise for me in quite some time. Dont know what the deal is. I went to Wisconsin for a week and it sucked up there to, but I will keep at it.

I went fishing for the 3rd time this year on fathers day weekend. We were going to hit Hickory Creek and wade for Smallies but we got a big storm the night before so we hit a few local ponds. We absolutely KILLED them. Pulled in 30-40 Largemouth and a dozen or so of keeper-sized Black Crappie. There were times where we'd pull in a bass with every cast for three or four consecutive casts.

They were only hitting on one certain lure though. A Meps No3 inline spinner. They wouldn't hit any other lure.

Nice Kley I hit Hickory every now and then. There are some smallies in there 4 sure! I havn't been fishin too much either and its killing me! Trip in September coming up though! Can't wait!!
