I don't know how many people will be interested by this, but some may enjoy this. I have an old Ruger 10/22, its a great rifle, lots of fun has been had with it. But the stock got a little worn and I wanted to get a new one. Well one thing led to another, and pretty soon I had a poor mans assault rifle, sort of speak. Not to say there was anything wrong with it before except it was getting a little worn looking. but here are some pics.

and a close up of my paint job i put on it.

if anyone is interested in how i did it all, i'd be happy to post pics showing how i put it all together.

DUDE, SWEET LOOKING RUGER. 22 CALIBERS ARE A LOT OF FUN AND ARE INEXPENSIVE TO SHOOT, WILD BILL.

I love shooting my 10/22. It's cheap for target practice and accurate. Nice custom work! It looks good.

It's finished, i have everything i want on it, and it shoots groups that a quarter can cover at 25 yards with the Flip up iron sights. And the red dot sight i got makes for quick target aquisition.

front flip up sight and the muzzle shroud

rear flip up sight and red dot sight

sights down

If anyone has questions about what i have done with this rifle i would be happy to go into great detail or post video of how it was done.
