I have always wanted to make my own decoys, so this year I tried it. I bought the heads from cabelas bargain cave for 77 cents. I painted the buffleheads and the bluebill heads are factory herters heads. The bodies are made out of blue 2" foam. I think it would be pretty neat to kill some ducks over decoys that you made. I will putting them to the test in 2 weeks in North Dakota...

What do ya guys think?

some nice work.. how many did you make? I used to buy the minature ducks you can paint yourself when I was growing up. Spend my some time painting. I never did full size decoys.
