Got out with my friend Tom a little late. By the time we got lines in at Gary Light, it was approaching 7:00 AM. Luckily the fish were late risers this morning. Went 6 for 6 on Cohos. One on a silver/white ladderback SeaQuest spoon on a dipsey 19-ft downon a #3 setting. One on a silver/black shad rap 26-ft behind a yellowbird. One on an orange ladderback thinfins 24-ft behind a yellowbird and 3 on a white/silver thinfin 26-ft behind a yellowbird. So many boats and some had no idea what they were doing. Really funny to watch the charter captains lose their cool with the novices that didn't want to follow the trolling pattern!

Anywho, these were just average ho's for this time of year, maybe a couple were a little better than average.

My 6-year-old still isn't too sure about the fish thing yet.....

But my 2-year-old thinks that fish are just fine with her.....as long as she can lift them!

the coho and the browns seem to be running a little on the small side so far this year i have caught a dozen or so that have been no bigger than perch.
