GETTING
THAT NEW BLIND TO LOOK OLD
Recently I bought a new Avery power hunter. It had new camo and looked
beautiful. Than my wife couldn’t believe what I did to it.
Before you even think about camouflaging your layout blind the
manufacturer suggests that you mix some dirt and water together making
some nice mud.
Take a paintbrush and spread some mud on the blind to help dull and break
in that shiny new camouflage. Birds can be spooked and flared if a shinny
part of your blind is showing.
Wait a little bit for the mud to dry on your blind. When it does, that
shiny sheen will not be their and your ready to camo the layout blind. And
hopefully some birds will come in.
