BOW SEASON IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER
Getting ready for the early bow-hunting season is right around the corner.
So here we are in July getting ready with a little work. Clean the dust
off that bow and start shooting it. Practice does make perfect and
provides confidence in the tree and field. Dialing in your bow 3 months
early is a lot easier to do instead of 3 days before the season. Getting
into a sport shop to have work done on your equipment has a lot less
traffic compared to those last minute hunters. Personally I like to run
some arrows thru my bow all year keeping myself in tune. Waxing bow
strings and making sure that all the bolts and gear are tight and in
working order. Early shooting can also help you dial in on your body
mechanics and steadiness of drawing and holding the bow. In the technology
advancements of bow-hunting today trying a new product to see if you like
it makes sense to try early than the night before the season. Nothing is
more stressful than knowing your gear is
the night before is not dialed in. Installing new sights and working with
them requires a little time.
So knock the dust off that bow and go into the season stress free. Bow
hunting is right around the corner.
