TURNING A 100 HUNDRED DOLLAR BARGAIN INTO A FISHING AND HUNTING BOAT

One of the things that an outdoorsman needs to always be on the hunt for is a bargain on a boat. Boats are plentiful in the bargain finder and peoples back yards. Sitting and waiting to be bought and turned into a useful outdoor tool. This boat here was modified for under 80 dollars in supplies.

Start with buying some outdoor tan paint as a base for the boat. Local hardware stores can mix this color for you. Use a roller and paint the entire bottom of the boat.

Now the camouflage process begins. Take and pick some weeds or plants from the woods or around the house to use for stencils. Hobby shops and plant stores also sell plastic flowers and ferns which make for easy use.
Use a black spray paint and lightly spray on the stencil until an outline is formed. Do this randomly around the boat.

This is what the painted stencil should look like.

Once you have gone around the boat with your stencil choose another one and repeat the process.

Using a red primer for your next color, repeat the stencil process around the boat.

Using a green spray paint repeat the process around the boat with another stencil.

When the outside of the boat is done repeating the painting steps to camouflage the trailer is pretty simple and it looks good.

When the trailer and outside of the boat is painted your ready to do the inside of the boat.

The first thing to do to the inside of the boat is to make sure it is clean from dirt and chipped paint. In order for paint to stick correctly you need to have a good base.

When the boat is all cleaned out inside laying down some indoor / outdoor carpeting is a good idea. Those aluminum benches tend to get hot in the summer. Cut the carpeting to the size of the bench seats and glue them down with outdoor carpet glue.

Repeat your camouflage process inside the boat to your own desire. Be careful not to over camo it.

Now that your boat is finished your ready for fishing and hunting with a boat that was a bargain and easy to camouflage.
