WHY YOU HAVE TO TAKE YOUR DAD
I remember when I was a kid I was major headache for my father. A royal
pain in the backside. But the memories I will carry with me for the rest
of my life are the times he took me hunting and fishing. Being woke up in
the early morning hours of 2:30 am to draw for a blind on state property
have left an impression on me that will go on forever.
All you hunters and fisherman still get that opening day or season jitters
for days till the night before. But now that I am older my father is the
pain in my backside. But you know these old timers still get the same
jitters you do. And that is why you have to be patient with them and take
them along. Spending time with them is time well spent. Enjoy them while
they're around, before time passes.
I’m pretty sure from outdoor experiences with other father son teams that
nobody has ever agreed or gotten along with the other. If your not arguing
about a short cut to the destination, the right lure to use, the way the
decoys are laid out, how you call ducks and geese, where to put the deer
stands and how to clean fish. Here is Bill (A.K.A. BIG SALLY) and Ryan Haas, hunting and fishing with this father son team will have you laughing
all day.
Here is Bob and Rick Fraser. This father son team gives a new meaning to
the butting of heads. When it comes to cleaning fish it is like two rams
going head to head. Personally I feel that Mr. Fraser is better at
cleaning fish. But by the end of the fishing and hunting day he is still
your father and you have to take him. Even if he keeps spooking the fish
with poor casts or flaring the ducks with movement and being noisy in the
deer stand. And before one knows it, you might be the pain in the backside
for your son, daughter or nephews.
THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES DAD !!!!!!!!
