THE ADVANTAGE OF USING A FLOATING DOCK
Some friends and me have been fishing up in Minnesota on Cass Lake. Like
various other lakes it seems that the influxes in rain totals affect the
dock area were the boats are kept. In the spring when we would go up to
fish the water level was usually good. But in the fall and summer are
boats would be well beneath the dock and made it difficult to get in and
out for boarding and loading. The floating dock is at such an advantage
being that it will rise and fall with water levels with very low
maintenance involved. We leave our dock in all year and the ice in the
winter has not affected it. Floating docks can be expensive, but there is
no price for having a dock that is stable and level with your boat. It is
even safer for the children and older folks to get in and out easier. We
found these docks in the bargain finder for a hundred dollars a section.
Docks are just one thing one might put in the back of their minds when out
and about. You never know what kind of deal can be found when driving
around a lake or looking in a bargain finder.
